Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Laso mobile application (the "App"), operated by Laso Health ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including visitors, free users, and subscribers. Please read them carefully before using Laso. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data and is incorporated by reference into these Terms.
1. Health Disclaimer — NOT Medical Advice
Laso is a personal wellness and informational tool only. It is not a medical device, clinical diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Informational only. All data, scores, insights, trends, and recommendations provided by Laso are for general informational and wellness purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice.
- Do not use to diagnose. Do not use Laso or any information it provides to self-diagnose or treat any health condition, illness, or injury. Do not disregard or delay seeking professional medical advice because of anything you read or see in the App.
- Always consult a healthcare professional. If you have questions about your health, a medical condition, or any symptoms you are experiencing, consult a qualified physician, nurse, or other licensed healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions.
- Call emergency services if needed. In a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (e.g., 911 in the US) or go to the nearest emergency room immediately. Do not rely on Laso in an emergency situation.
- Accuracy depends on wearable sensors. The health data displayed in Laso is sourced from Apple HealthKit and connected wearable devices. The accuracy and reliability of this data depend entirely on the hardware sensors and algorithms of those devices. Laso makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy of sensor-derived measurements.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Laso. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Laso requires iOS 17.0 or later. By using the App, you confirm that your device meets this requirement. We do not guarantee compatibility with any operating system version below iOS 17.0.
3. Account & Access
Laso does not require you to create an account or provide personal credentials to use the App. The App operates entirely on your device and integrates with Apple HealthKit to access your health data locally.
Your health data is accessed through Apple HealthKit and processed on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store your personal health data on our servers. All analysis is performed locally on your iPhone.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the privacy of your health information. We strongly recommend using device-level security features such as Face ID, Touch ID, or a strong passcode to protect access to your device and the Laso app.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
4.1 Subscription Plan
Laso Pro is available as an annual subscription only. No monthly subscription is offered. Subscription pricing is tiered by region as follows:
Standard Regions — $29.99 / year
United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union member states, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and other comparable markets.
Reduced-Price Regions — $14.99 / year
India, Brazil, Mexico, Southeast Asia (including Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia), African markets, and other emerging economy regions as determined by App Store pricing tiers.
Premium Regions — $34.99 / year
Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Singapore, Luxembourg, and other high cost-of-living markets as determined by App Store pricing tiers.
Prices shown are in USD and are approximate. Your local currency equivalent is displayed at checkout. Actual pricing is set by the Apple App Store and may vary by region. No monthly subscription is offered.
4.2 Free Trial
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of Laso Pro. During the trial period, you have full access to all Pro features. If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, the trial will automatically convert to a paid annual subscription and your payment method will be charged the applicable annual fee for your region. You will not receive a separate notification at the end of your trial; it is your responsibility to cancel before the trial period concludes if you do not wish to be charged.
4.3 Auto-Renewal
Your Laso Pro annual subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing year unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges will be applied to your Apple ID account at the rate confirmed at the time of your original purchase, or any updated rate we have previously notified you of. You can manage and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
4.4 How to Cancel
To cancel your Laso Pro subscription, follow these steps on your iPhone:
- 1 Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- 2 Tap your name at the top of the screen.
- 3 Tap Subscriptions.
- 4 Find and tap Laso.
- 5 Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual billing period. You will retain access to Laso Pro features until that date. No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period, except where required by applicable law.
4.5 Payment Processing
All payments are processed exclusively by Apple through the Apple App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information, billing address, or any other payment details. All billing inquiries, disputes, and refund requests must be directed to Apple. You can request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
4.6 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. If we change the price of your subscription, we will notify you in advance via an in-app notification or through Apple's standard subscription price change notification system. Price changes take effect at the start of the next billing period following the notice. Your continued use of Laso Pro after a price change constitutes your agreement to the new pricing.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Laso only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App or any portion thereof.
- Copy, reproduce, distribute, republish, sell, or sublicense any portion of the App or its content without our prior written consent.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on or within the App.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any server, network, or system connected to Laso or its services.
- Use any output, insight, or data from the App to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations to other individuals.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access, scrape, or interact with the App in any unauthorized manner.
6. Intellectual Property
The Laso App, including its design, code, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and all other content and materials, is owned by Laso Health and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved by Laso Health.
Your use of the App does not grant you any ownership interest in the App or any of its content. You may not use any Laso trademarks, service marks, logos, or trade names without our prior written permission.
Your health data remains entirely yours. Laso Health does not claim any ownership rights over your personal health data. The App accesses your health data solely to provide you with the App's features and functionality. Your health data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to Laso Health's servers.
7. Third-Party Services
Laso integrates with certain third-party services and platforms. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies, not by these Terms. We encourage you to review those policies carefully.
- Apple HealthKit — The App reads health and fitness data from Apple HealthKit. Your use of HealthKit is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. Data read from HealthKit is used solely to provide you with the App's features.
- Firebase (Google) — The App uses Firebase Analytics and Firebase Remote Config, services provided by Google LLC. These services are used to understand aggregate, anonymous usage patterns and to deliver app configuration updates. Your use of these features is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Apple StoreKit — In-app purchases and subscription management are handled through Apple's StoreKit framework and the Apple App Store. All payment transactions are governed by Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions.
Apple, Apple Watch, iPhone, HealthKit, and other Apple product names are trademarks of Apple Inc. Garmin and related marks are trademarks of Garmin Ltd. Fitbit is a trademark of Google LLC. Whoop is a trademark of WHOOP, Inc. Oura is a trademark of Oura Health Oy. All other trademarks and brand names referenced in the App or these Terms are the property of their respective owners. Reference to these brands does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or partnership with Laso Health.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Laso Health expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:
- Any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.
- Any warranty regarding the accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, or usefulness of any data, scores, insights, or content provided by the App.
- Any warranty that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
- Any warranty that defects in the App will be corrected or that the App will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. In such jurisdictions, the above exclusions apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LASO HEALTH, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, LICENSORS, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
- Personal injury or property damage arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
- Any health-related outcomes, decisions, or consequences resulting from your reliance on App data, scores, or insights.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data.
- Any other matter relating to the App, even if Laso Health has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Aggregate Liability Cap. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Laso Health's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Laso Health (net of any amounts retained by Apple) during the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Reliance at your own risk. You expressly acknowledge and agree that your reliance on any output, score, insight, recommendation, or data provided by the App is entirely at your own risk. Laso Health shall not be liable for any decisions you make or actions you take based on App output.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Laso Health and its officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your use of or access to the App; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; (d) your violation of any third-party rights, including without limitation any intellectual property rights or privacy rights; or (e) any claim that your conduct caused damage to a third party. This obligation will survive the termination of these Terms and your use of the App.
11. Termination
You may stop using Laso at any time by uninstalling the App from your device. Uninstalling the App will remove the App and locally stored data from your device. If you have an active subscription, uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel your subscription; you must cancel through your Apple ID account settings as described in Section 4.4.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or any applicable law, or if we discontinue the App for any reason. Upon termination, all rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including without limitation Sections 1, 6, 8, 9, 10, 13, 16, and 17.
12. Apple App Store Terms
The following additional terms apply because Laso is distributed through the Apple App Store:
- Agreement between you and Laso Health. These Terms are between you and Laso Health only, not with Apple Inc. Laso Health, not Apple, is solely responsible for the App and its content.
- No maintenance obligation from Apple. Apple has no obligation whatsoever to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App. Any questions, complaints, or claims with respect to the App should be directed to Laso Health, not Apple.
- Apple as third-party beneficiary. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and, upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary thereof.
- Embargoed countries. By downloading or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are not located in a country that is subject to a U.S. Government embargo or that has been designated by the U.S. Government as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Scope of license. The license granted to you for the App is limited to a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
- Product claims. Laso Health, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have relating to the App or your possession and/or use of the App, including but not limited to: (i) product liability claims; (ii) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (iii) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
- Intellectual property infringement. In the event of any third-party claim that the App or your possession and use of the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Laso Health, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of any such intellectual property infringement claim.
13. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Binding Arbitration. PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitrator's award shall be final and binding. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class Action Waiver. You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be limited to the dispute between you and Laso Health individually. To the full extent permitted by law, you agree that no arbitration or proceeding shall be joined with any other, and there is no right or authority for any dispute to be arbitrated on a class action basis or to utilize class action procedures.
Informal resolution first. Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact us at legal@lasohealth.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of your notice. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may proceed to arbitration.
14. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide notice through the App or by other means reasonably calculated to inform you of the changes.
Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and, if applicable, cancel your subscription before the new Terms take effect.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or arbitrator of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect. The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of these Terms in any jurisdiction shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision, nor shall it affect the validity or enforceability of that provision in any other jurisdiction.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Laso Health regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the subject matter hereof.
17. Waiver
The failure of Laso Health to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by Laso Health. A waiver of any right or provision on one occasion will not be deemed a waiver of any other right or provision or of the same right or provision on any other occasion.
